Upsilon

μου

The final letter is upsilon. It is the "u" sound, as in the German word "umlaut." It is normally transliterated a "u." I will show you the exception later.

Please enable Javascript in your browser to hear the Professor.

This is a little hard to say. Listen to the Professor say it several times. You have to stick out your lips a little to say it correctly.

However, in μου the upsilon is not pronounced normally because the omicron before it changes everything. So remember how to say "μου" and "υ" by itself.
