Gender
All Greek nouns, pronouns, and adjectives have something called "gender."
There are three genders in grammar: masculine, feminine, and neuter.
In English, gender is most clearly seen in personal pronouns.
If the antecedent is a boy, we say "he" (or one of its others forms like "him" or "his").
If the antecedent is a girl, we say "she" (or one of its others forms like "her").
If the antecedent is neither a boy or girl, we say "it" (or "its").
The gender of "he" is masculine, the gender of "she" is feminine, and the gender of "it" is neuter. Okay?
