When a word is the subject of the verb, it is placed in the nominative case by adding a nominative case ending. There are different endings for singular (oJ ajpovstoloV) and plural (oiJ ajpovstoloi).

When a word is the direct object of the verb, it is placed in the accusative case by adding an accusative case ending. There are different endings for singular (to;n ajpovstolon) and plural (tou;V ajpostovlouV).

nom sg oJ lovgoV
acc sg to;n lovgon
nom pl oiJ lovgoi
acc pl tou;V lovgouV

  • The case endings by themselves (the colored part)
  • The full form of lovgoV, with the case endings
