What will help you learn?

Here are some hints that will help you learn Greek ­easier.

1. Say the words out loud. The more senses you use to learn a language — write it, say it, listen to it, taste it (if you can; I haven’t figured out how to do that yet) — the better.

2. Sing it. There is a lot of music in this class. Even if singing isn't your thing, be sure you still sing it out. It helps.

3. Don't be afraid to be wrong. When I ask you questions, give it your best shot.

4. Practice every day. Nothing is more important than this. Language learning is a daily thing. Reread chapters. Redo exercises. Memorize your vocabulary.
