6. Understanding the Bible

Our greatest goal for your students is that their growing knowledge of Greek help them understand the Bible better. This is where we are headed.

Even with one year of Kid's Greek, they will know enough about vocabulary and grammar that they will be able to:

• do some basic translation of the Greek New Testament,
• make good sense of an interlinear,
• do word studies based on the Greek,
• and be able to study their Bible better.

At the end of the year we will work through the use of an interlinear, how to look up the meaning of the Greek words that lie behind the English translation, and to start learning a basic method for studying their Bibles that is based on the Greek.

I have spent most of my professional career writing these types of books, and now Kid's Greek gives me the opportunity to help much younger people learn how to use them. We can do this!
