The verb changes quite a bit to indicate person and number. Not all verbs change this much.
Important: notice also that in English "you" can be singular or plural. I used to live in Kentucky, and in the south there is an expression, "y'all." I will be using "you" when the verb is second person singular, and y'all when the verb is second person plural.
